With the reconstituting of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the stupid Joint Employment rules which had pushed the responsibility for a 3PL’s actions onto the company that hires said 3PL.  You can read the summary.  But, as the headline says, “for now,” – future administrations can reverse this call.  To make this permanent, Congress needs to enact legislation.  From my understanding, it can’t use the Congressional Review Act, but Congress has already used this act to block many regulations.  
 
There is no doubt that regulation continues to chew into productivity.  The Competitive Enterprise Institute calculated that regulation took a $1.9 trillion annual toll on the economy last year.  If that is true, even a small reduction in the regulatory burden can boost the economy.
